Search Engine Optimization For the SMB

Our SEO Plans are customizable but we typically break them into two parts: On Page SEO and Off Page SEO. Pretty simple right? Well…each “part” will be made up of numerous SEO tasks and services. How many will be dependent on the the industry, existing criteria, level of aggressiveness and budget.

On Page SEO, or what some refer to as “on-site SEO”, is the practice of optimizing content on a domain with the goal of ranking better in search engines and giving visitors a good user experience. On-Page SEO tasks include, but are not limited to the optimization and insertion of meta data like title, description and alt tags, permalink structure, usability and page speed enhancements, publishing content pages and posts, and internal linking.

Off Page SEO, sometimes know as off-site SEO, refers to the optimization efforts that occur outside of you domain that help a website to rank for certain keywords and phrases. These tasks will include the creation and optimization of authoritative profiles like Google My Business in addition to a link building strategy that may consist of directory submissions, article syndication, file and video sharing, social bookmarking, and local citations.

Additionally, a well designed Search Engine Optimization Strategy should also include a plan for content creation, reputation management, conversion architecture modifications and ongoing miscellaneous adjustments.
